Turbo International was founded in 1989 as one of the first turbocharger component parts manufacturers in North America. Turbocharger rebuilding was growing in popularity and providing an aftermarket source for these parts became the primary focus of TI. In the early days, TI manufactured compressor wheels and balanced them for local rebuilders. Demand increased and TI answered the call by expanding into all the individual component parts and service kits needed for turbo rebuilding. In 1995 the company expanded into the distribution of CHRA’s/Cartridges (assembled and balanced in Carlsbad, CA USA). In 2019 TI began offering quality new aftermarket turbochargers to distributors and the diesel specialist market. In 2024 we are celebrating our 35th anniversary.
